The Magic Years Nursery School

Program and Fees

NO Hidden Fees!

Also, the tuition is amongst the most reasonable in the entire city, they never, ever ask you for donations, etc., and they do a TON of extra things for the kids (like bring in singers, dancers, do a snow day, set up a carnival, etc.) and NEVER ask for a single extra dollar from any of the parents.

The director schedules many special events, such as a yearly “Snow Day,” visits from children’s singers and magicians, international potluck days, and a semi-annual “Family Get Together”. There is never an extra charge.

Summer Program

We offer a seven-week summer program that will include many special events.  In addition to the art, music, and cooking projects, the summer program will include the Mobile Marine Lab, concerts, a petting zoo, 300 pounds of ice for ice experiments, and an International Dance presentation.  Don’t let your child miss out on our special summer program!  Remember: we have a gradual-separation policy, so your child will get comfortable at Magic Years while you or another relative is with him/her.

The Pre-K Program

Many of you know of the success of this program in past years. In fact, we have alumni from decades ago who have life-long memories of the special Pre-K activities and woodworking projects.  The Magic Years Pre-K program is project-oriented.  Each child completes several woodworking projects, including a scooter, a secret box, and a tool box.  The Pre-K children also do individual cooking projects, make their own picnic lunches on Fridays, and enjoy “swimming” on Wednesdays.  A hands-on approach in the classroom skillfully integrates academic learning in science, math, pre-literacy, and vocabulary building. The Pre-K program is a wonderful wind-up to Magic Years and a springboard into kindergarten.
